Political circumstances over the next few years are going to require a strong consumer voice in support of midwifery. In response to this emerging need, Florida Friends of Midwives came together again in the fall of 2007 as a small group of consumers, students and midwives.

Eligibility is by appointment only, for women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or have just had a baby and their children up to the age of 5 years old. There is a family income limit, but working families may qualify.

Grieving Together

Grieving Together is a pregnancy & infant loss support group. We offer monthly support meetings, online support, and an annual end of year memorial. We provide monthly support meetings, online support, and an end of year memorial. Our support group is made up of parents who have experienced a loss, with the purpose of providing a caring atmosphere where parents who endure these tragedies can express their feelings and gain emotional support from parents who have been through the same heartbreak.

Postpartum Support International is dedicated to helping families suffering from postpartum depression, anxiety, and distress.
Women of every culture, age, income level, and race can develop perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Symptoms can appear any time during pregnancy and the first 12 months after childbirth.
This is a FREE group for moms or moms-to-be who want to connect with other mommas for support!
Come and be supported through exhaustion, appetite or sleep disturbances, mood swings, anxiety, or just feeling overwhelmed.
We will share, listen, cry, and laugh together.
